Hello, I’m Izzy. A studio potter working primarily with stoneware clay on the wheel.

So far I’ve mostly produced tableware in small batches, where repetition allows for sublte variation. Currently, I'm exploring a new direction of larger one-off forms, still thrown on the wheel but more collectable pieces.

Guided by a passion for craftsmanship and a commitment to sharing skills (see Stoneware Studios, my teaching business), I believe that honesty to material is fundamental to good design. Whether a functional mug, or a large decorative piece.

Above all, I want the pots I make to feel alive and have character.
